Rouen celebrates its ties with Norway

Organised by the City of Rouen, the season also marks the centenary of Saint-Olav Chapel at the Foyer des Marins, a testament to the Norwegian presence in the city.

Exhibitions, concerts, talks, performances, artist residencies and opportunities for discussion will feature in the programme from October 2026 to June 2027. Each offers a chance to discover Norwegian culture and explore the historical, cultural and personal ties between Rouen and Norway.

Bringing together shared history and contemporary creativity, the season invites audiences to explore the connections between the two places and the exchanges that continue today.
