Medieval market and banquet

from 14 April 2027

to 28 May 2027

Creation of a market and a culinary work

The culmination of the project “The Europe of the Normans: from the English Channel to the Mediterranean”, the medieval banquet serves as a time for restitution, highlighting Norman heritage and providing a professional scenario for high school students.

This event honors a menu inspired by medieval cuisine, blending Norman and European gastronomic heritages. Its preparation and organization allow students to apply the skills developed throughout the project in a concrete context, close to the working conditions of the professional sector.

The banquet also fits into a process of transmission and cultural valorization. It brings together students, educational teams, local partners, and institutions around a unifying event dedicated to Norman history and heritage.

This immersive experience takes place within a medieval market featuring local exhibitors. Games and medieval-themed activities, organized in partnership with a local association and the media library of Tréport, complement the program. A dedicated scenography helps recreate the atmosphere of the period and highlight the craftsmanship, traditions, and cultural heritage of the Middle Ages.
