Norman memories and intersections

The conferences/study days constitute the heart of the project. These meetings will bring together French and Italian historians, art historians, and archaeologists.

As for Calabria, they will be organized in various locations in the region that are part of the cultural itinerary and will focus on themes such as: Norman sacred architecture; the Normans and the sea; liturgical traditions and scriptoria; power management; Norman material culture.

They may be organized concurrently with other scientific and/or outreach events present at the sites of the Calabrian itinerary.
