Norman memories and intersections

The conferences/study days represent the heart of the project. These meetings will bring together historians, art historians, and archaeologists from France and Italy.

As for Calabria, they will be organized in the various locations of the region that are part of the cultural itinerary and will focus on themes such as: Norman sacred architecture; the Normans and the sea; liturgical traditions and scriptoria; the management of power; Norman material culture.

They may be organized in conjunction with other scientific and/or informative events taking place at sites along the Calabrian itinerary.
