At the Hours of the Duke of Bedford

The Historial Jeanne d’Arc presents the exhibition "Rouen, English Capital – At the Hours of the Duke of Bedford".

Between 1419 and 1449, Rouen was under English domination. From the Norman capital, the Duke of Bedford, regent of the Kingdom of England, exerts his power with the conviction that Rouen will remain forever English.
Specifically designed for the Historial Jeanne d’Arc, this unique exhibition offers a bold staging that immerses both adults and young audiences in the heart of this
little-known period of Norman history.

Through three completely redesigned spaces, visitors are invited to discover the political, military, and artistic life of Rouen at that time, following the perspective and ambitions of the Duke of Bedford.
