Jèrriais Section of the Jersey Eisteddfod 2027
A celebration of the Norman language spoken in Jersey

The Jèrriais section of the Jersey Eisteddfod 2027 celebrates the performing arts in the Norman language of Jersey. Participants perform in Jèrriais before an audience in a vibrant festival setting.

The event includes both a schools section and an adult section, and admission is free for the public. Primary and secondary school students learn poems and songs over several weeks and receive certificates for their participation. Winners in each category receive a trophy.

The adult section welcomes anyone learning Jèrriais. Participants perform either a set piece from the syllabus or a piece of their own choice.
